Location: Baytown, TX
The I&E Maintenance Technician (IEMT) will ensure instrumentation control systems and automation systems are calibrated and functioning properly. The IEMT is accountable for maintaining and safely operating all facility instrumentation, measurement devices and final control elements, such as process control, safety shutdown, fire detection and suppression, gas detection, emergency shutdown, etc. Working with facility engineers, the IEMT will provide input to optimize the systems and ensure appropriate regulatory requirements and records are maintained. This position will require the ability to assess, maintain, repair and monitor control, analytical systems, and distributed control systems. You will be subject to the on-call schedule and must respond to emergency callouts as scheduled. Responsibilities include housekeeping and general maintenance as required, and performance of any other functions as trained, requested and instructed by supervision. This position requires a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude; the candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill through experience and training.
